Allen Wass, CPC – President
Allen Wass is the President of the Sanford Rose Associates Owner’s Association Board and President of Sanford Rose Associates® – Hudson, an executive search firm focused on partnering with companies that process Chemicals and Specialty Materials. In addition to his recruiting expertise, Allen held engineering, purchasing and operations management leadership positions during a ten-year career with General Electric. Prior to opening the Hudson office in 2000, he was Plant Manager of the Dover Products Plant, a facility that processes molybdenum wire and manufactures lighting components. Allen has proven success with Sanford Rose Associates®as evidenced by several network awards won by his office. Allen is also a member of the following organizations: American Ceramic Society (ACerS), American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE), APMI International, ASM International, Association for Iron and Steel Technology (AIST), National Association of Personnel Services (NAPS), Rubber Division of American Chemical Society (ACS), Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), and the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE).
Allen earned a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management and is a Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC).

Robin Toft – Vice President
Robin Toft is the Vice President of the Sanford Rose Associates Owner’s Association and President of Sanford Rose Associates® – San Diego, which she opened in 2010. Prior to establishing her own firm, Robin was Managing Director of Sanford Rose Associates® – San Francisco for four years. Since joining Sanford Rose Associates® in 2006, Robin has placed numerous executives within rapidly growing companies including key placements for biotech, diagnostic/ molecular Dx, medical device and pharmaceutical clients. Before joining Sanford Rose Associates®, Robin worked for 20+ years in the biotech and molecular diagnostics industries, most recently as Senior Vice President of Global Commercial Operations for Roche in the San Francisco Bay Area. At Roche, she also held the position of Vice President of Global Business Development for Virology. Prior to joining Roche, she was Vice President of Marketing and Sales at ViroLogic/ Monogram Biosciences, an emerging biotech company in San Francisco. Before that, Robin served in a variety of senior management positions at Laboratory Corporation of America (LabCorp), one of the world’s largest diagnostic companies. Robin began her Life Sciences career in 1988 with SmithKline Beecham Clinical Laboratories. Robin has served on the Board of Directors of the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Foundation of San Diego, CA and Innovative Biosensors, Inc., an emerging biotech company based in Rockville, MD.
Robin has a B.S. in Medical Technology (Clinical Laboratory Science) from Michigan State University, completed her internship at William Beaumont Hospital, pursued her teaching credential at San Diego State University, and subsequently taught college level Medical Technology at the University of Hawaii.

Tom Thomson, CPC – Treasurer
Tom is the Treasurer of the Sanford Rose Associates Owner’s Association Board and Managing Partner of Sanford Rose Associates® – Franklin. Tom spent 19 years with Sonoco Products Company, a $4B Global Packaging Company, where he held key management positions and was instrumental in growing a new division from start up to $85mm in revenues. In October of 2005, Tom left Sonoco to be Vice President of a regional staffing company. In March of 2007, Tom founded Sanford Rose Associates® – Franklin and located the office on Main Street in downtown Franklin, Tennessee. The Franklin office does retained search for senior managers in Manufacturing, Transportation and Renewable Energy and was recently named to the President’s Club which recognizes the top ten offices for revenues.
Tom is active in the Big Brother/Big Sister program and coaches youth basketball. He plays basketball, golf and tennis. Tom also enjoys sports photography, and his pictures have been in the Tennessean. Tom is a graduate of the Terry School of Business at the University of Georgia.

Brett Blair, CPC – Secretary
Brett Blair is the Secretary of the Sanford Rose Associates Owner’s Association Board and Managing Partner of Sanford Rose Associates® – Brighton. Brett has a passion for people. He is naturally pulled in the direction to help people. He loves his Sanford Rose Associates®Executive Search business for that reason. It’s sole purpose is to help people, and subsequently….organizations. It helps leaders of companies, it helps new employees…and in turn, their families, their communities, and in a small way, it helps the world.
Brett comes from a 22 year corporate career, with prior experience with RE/MAX, 3M, and Alcoa. He enjoyed multiple functional roles over that time, culminating as General Manager of a $200 million automotive parts manufacturing business. Brett holds a BS-Industrial Engineering degree, and an MBA – Finance. He has also studied in Japan and has extensive experience working in Mexico and Europe. His experience, education, personality, drive and passion to help people have positioned Brett well to lead the Sanford Rose Associates® – Brighton firm to growth and success.

Mark Soufleris, Past President
Mark Soufleris is the Past President of the Sanford Rose Associates Owner’s Association Board and the President of Sanford Rose Associates® – Ft. Lauderdale. Mark acquired his Sanford Rose Associates® practice in 2006 following a very successful career in the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. He is a 30 year pharmaceutical industry veteran who has dedicated his life to helping companies successfully develop and commercialize products that address significant patient needs. During this time, he has directed key strategic activities for large and small public and privately held companies that have included marketing, market research, business development, sales and investor and public relations functions. He has worked for industry leaders like Bristol-Myers and served at the vice president level for Wyeth, Novo Nordisk and Nabi Biopharmaceuticals.
Mark received a Bachelor of Arts in Zoology from the University of Vermont and a Masters in Public Administration from Syracuse University. In addition, Mark is a member of NAPS and has successfully completed extensive training in professional interviewing skills, candidate assessment and the executive search process.
